How to leave a comment

These suggestions were borrowed from other 100 Word Challenge bloggers at https://msbrennocksclass.100wc.net/and their hub buddies in Mrs. Boyce’s class.

They suggest using accountable talk, including phrases like:

  • I enjoyed reading the part about….
  • I enjoyed how you set the scene.
  • I loved the way you described the….
  • I particularly liked ……
  • I was wondering what happened to …..?
  • I can imagine you….
  • Did you…..?
  • I found it……
  • Very creative writing. Well done.
  • This reminded me of……..
  • Keep up the good work. Keep blogging.
  • I agree with…..
  • I am glad that….
  • ………. …. sounds interesting / scary.
  • I think that …….
  • You used some excellent adjectives like……..
  • What a clever idea to…

Include useful words that emphasize what you like in the story.

  •  Vivid Descriptions …. Adjectives ….. Good Dialogue…. Adverbs…… Very interesting ……. well written….. Descriptive Vocabulary …… Cliff hanger ….. Great suspense ….. Fantastic powerful verbs….. Good sentence structure……….beginning….. Middle …… Ending…..

Comments should be 1-2 sentences in length. Should be positive, telling what you liked. Comments, like posts, should be proofread and spellchecked. Keep personal information out of the comment.
